Section Four:  The Endogenic System & Tectonic Processes

Powered from within the Earth, building up the landscape...

The endogenic system is comprised of internal tectonic processes that serve to create landforms through elevating, moving and rupturing the Earth's surface.
The tectonic processes
work in opposition to gradational processes, and result in fractures of the crust, mountain building (orogeny), earthquakes, and volcanoes!
